Terms and conditions for using ai-jev.org.

Acceptance

By accessing or using ai-jev.org ("the site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the site.

About this site

ai-jev.org is an independently operated website offering Jev tutorials and a paid hosted evaluation service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TypeSafe or the Jev team. Tutorials, guides, and templates are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Content and templates

The built-in templates, examples, and guides on this site are synthetic examples created for educational purposes. They are authored hypotheses, not live model outputs (results of hosted runs are live model outputs). We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any content on this site.

You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any templates or code before using them in your own projects or workflows.

Hosted evaluation service

The site provides a paid, hosted evaluation service:

  • Online Playground — submit an input and up to 5 typed questions; we send the request from our servers to a third-party AI model provider (currently OpenRouter) and return the structured result.
  • Batch CSV evaluation — upload a CSV file and we run the same hosted evaluation for each row. Each row is a separate run with one question, so each successfully processed row consumes 1 credit (for example, a 200-row file uses up to 200 credits).

Hosted runs require a signed-in account and are billed in credits: each successful run consumes 1 credit, whether it asks 1 question or up to 5 about the same input. Failed calls never consume credits. New accounts may receive free trial credits; the current amount and validity period are shown on the pricing page. Additional credits are purchased through the plans on the pricing page. You do not need your own AI API key to use the hosted service.

Do not submit confidential information or sensitive personal data in hosted runs. Results are produced by an AI model and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them.

Exported code (optional)

You may also copy or export request examples and run them yourself. Code you run in your own environment uses your own API credentials, does not pass through our servers, and does not consume credits.

User accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

Third-party services and APIs

Hosted runs are processed by a third-party AI model provider (currently OpenRouter) on our behalf. When you use exported code directly with a third-party AI API provider, your use of that provider's service is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy. Review those before use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the site
  • Use the site in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair it

Intellectual property

  • Content on this site is provided under applicable open-source licenses or is the intellectual property of its respective owners.
  • "Jev" and "TypeSafe" are trademarks of their respective owners. References to them on this site do not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the site at any time without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the site.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are monthly or annual subscriptions. Current plans and prices are shown on the pricing page.

  • Recurring billing authorization: by subscribing to a paid plan, you expressly authorize us and our payment provider, Waffo Pancake, to charge your payment method the plan fee at the start of each billing period. This authorization remains in effect until you cancel.
  • Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly or annual billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date (see Cancellation policy).
  • Plan credits: each billing period adds the credits shown for your plan to your balance. Paid plan credits do not expire and carry over to later periods. Credits already granted remain in your balance after you cancel and can still be used, unless they are revoked because of a refund or chargeback.

Refund policy

Paid plans provide access to the credits and features shown on the pricing page.

  • 7-day refund: you may request a full refund within 7 days of a payment, provided none of the credits granted by that payment have been used.
  • After use or after 7 days: once any credits from a payment have been used, or more than 7 days have passed, that payment is non-refundable except where required by law. You can still cancel to stop future charges (see Cancellation policy).
  • Free credits: credits granted for free at sign-up have no cash value and are not refundable.
  • When a refund is issued, the credits associated with that payment are revoked.

Submit a request to support@ai-jev.org with your order number and account email. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Waffo Pancake; support requests are handled through this site.

Cancellation policy

You can cancel an active subscription from the Billing page or by contacting support@ai-jev.org. A normal cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access remains available until then. A past-due or fully canceled subscription may lose access immediately. Cancellation requests are normally reviewed within 3 business days.

Modifications to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
